Meetings

What do we Do?

Each meeting is unique because it depends on the needs of the group in the moment.

Most of the members have their own projects and our meetings are time dedicated to working on those projects. This means that we often simply sit together and work on our writing, occasionally interrupting each other to ask "what's another word for..." or "how would you describe...?"

However, all writers hit road blocks, so we also workshop each others pieces, brainstorm on the stuck points, send each other our work for more extensive feedback and more.

We might go on a publishing rant and discuss the industry or give tips on writing query letters.

Sometimes we decide that we need a writing prompt to get us in the mood to write.

If you want dedicated time for writing, if you want help with character development, dialogue, description, or if you have a brand new idea for a story and you're dying to share it, our meetings are the place to be with people who will get just as excited about the possibilities as you are.
