We meet once a week.

The day we meet is assessed every four months to make sure we can accommodate as many members as possible.

Typically we meet on a weekday evening (Monday-Thursday.)

Therefore, we'll meet every Tuesday evening for four months. Then we'll assess to see if we need to change nights. If Tuesday still works for everyone, we'll continue meeting on Tuesdays. If Tuesdays conflict with other obligations for a number of members, we might switch to meeting every Wednesday or Thursday evening for four months. We always go with whatever works best for the largest number of consistently attending members.

We meet in coffee shops and bookstores because caffeine and books are life-blood for many of us.

Since we have members from all over, we try to meet in different parts of Kitchener, Waterloo and sometimes Guelph to make it easier for members to reach us.

 

An email is sent out once a month to all members with the dates and location of each meeting for that month.

We meet in the evenings from about 5pm until about 9pm, but there is no 'start' or 'end' of our meetings. Members come when they can and leave when they need to. Sometimes you can only stop in for half an hour, sometimes you'll sit for hours. It's completely up to you and what you need at that time.

No one is expected to come every time, but we all try to come as often as we can because we love what we do.
